The Rock & Republic FW 08 fashion show was displayed in New York on the day 2. I was never particularly interested in their designs ever since Rock & Republic and Victoria Beckham simply split, but it looks like their designs have developed a lot.

“The Sun” has published the article summing up the latest year of celebrity hair styles, naming 2008 as ‘hair-volutional’. Lauren Naylor and Toni Jones have praised or slammed haircuts of Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Eva Longoria, Katie Holmes, Avril Lavigne, Lilly Allen, Pink and Agyness Deyn.

Ruffian show is said to be one of the best of the whole FW 08. It took place at a tiny dance studio at 8th Avenue in New York. Ruffian’s designers, Brian Wolk and Claude Morais focus on one very specific look: the Elizabethan ruff. Tweeds, wools, silky blouses, bishop or belled sleeves are their trademarks.

Shoes are most women’s favourite accessory. Every season footwear tendences change and therefore it’s very important to know what is trendy and what is not. Always the biggest fashion mistake is to wear apparel that was en vogue last season. Well I was about to make a Top 10 Hottest Shoes of Winter 2009, but couldn’t decide which one to rule out, so there are 11 hottest shoes for the season! =]

Balenciaga is a name of a fashion house, founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga, who was born in Basque Country. He had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as “the master of us all” by Christian Dior. His bubble skirts and odd, feminine, yet ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.

Whoa! Just take a look at these fabulous turquoise peep-toes from Valentino. I am simply speachless, this is the reason why I’m a woman! I’d love to have them.
I guess Half d’Orsay Peep-Toes will be a perfect recompense after even the worst breakdown! Wearing them is probably like pretending to be Alice in Wonderland.
