A short fashion round-up! So, what’s on in fashion this week?
Rihanna covers Elle France Magazine
Rihanna not only graces the current Elle U.S. edition, but she is also a cover girl of Elle France’s April 2012 issue. Photographed by Tom Munro and styled by Joe Zee, the Barbados-born star poses in a beautiful tangerine Versace Atelier minidress from the label’s Haute Couture Spring 2012 collection. Stunning and (still) blonde!
H&M Conscious Collection hits stores
The H&M Conscious collection was launched April 12th and I was lucky to see a part of it in Poland, which is a huge surprise anyway. The most exciting part was a glamorous evening dress featuring an organza plissé meringue skirt available in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, each individually numbered. Unfortunately, the claim that it was made from more sustainable materials as part of H&M’s Conscious initiative is sadly very true. I am disappointed with the poor quality of the organic cotton dress modeled by Constance Jablonski. Have a look at the picture.
Kate Middleton celebrates a year as a Dutchess of Cambridge
Dutchess Catherine celebrates her first year as a royal. Since the Royal Wedding at the Westminster Abbey in London, the Duchess of Cambridge has emerged as a fashion icon (plus she always dresses appropriately for the occasion). Therefore, Vogue prepared a special gallery called All Eyes on the Duchess of Cambridge: The Best Looks from Her First Year as a Royal.
