My name’s Gabi and I’m a 23-year-old fashionista from Poland.
Fashion has always played an important role in my life. I think I have a quite artistic soul and I always wanted to study art but somehow my common sense won the battle with my heart. Therefore I’ve been studying IT and Economics and I’ve been working in parallel as a SEO/SEM apprentice in a small company.
I’ve never really abandoned fashion. I had some plans to become a fashion designer but this goal is just too difficult to achieve. I’m a perfectionist so I wouldn’t be pleased of being the most famous clothes designer in Poland. My goal was to be as famous as Gabrielle Chanel. Nevertheless, I decided to kick off with this fashion-dedicated blog.
History
Fashion Allure is a blog dedicated to Fashion in general. Its story dates back to December 2006 when I decided to launch forums with a leading topic of fashion. At the very beginning forums were doing well, but then users’ activity weakened.
So I decided to transform Fashion Allure to a website based on the news system, powered by Wordpress. Since then Fashion Allure hits have successfully increased as well as the new crew members have joined. Lorri, the new editor had the idea of creating a ‘Lifestyle’ category, based more on her typical for fashionistas lifestyle and made these entries more blog-like, which has richened Fashion Allure architecture and general idea.
Mission statement
We aim to deliver all the alerts on the latest trends plus various pictures of collections, catwalks, celebrities, photoshoots, models etc. on the regular basis so feel free to visit Fashion Allure as frequently as it is possible. Oh and wish me luck!
