Posted by Gabi On April - 17 - 2009

British Vogue also quotes Charles Anastase, Nina Ricci, John Rocha, Jonathan Saunders, Pollini, Sonia Rykiel, Sue Stemp, Erdem and Bora Aksu. Yes, the list is very long so I will dare to say that it’s one of the leading trends.

First, it was who didn’t only design a dress that resembled ballerina’s costume – I believe his jewel-embellished tulle frock is perfect for professional ballerinas as well. Then there is and Giambatista Valli who vamped the trend with some colour, who used fringes, Marc Jacobs and who didn’t resist to join it with floral patterns.

Ballet has never been this edgy – take a look at the spiced up designs with reticulations, chains, leather masochist gloves and cut-out elements. and Fendi recall that there is no ballerina without a highlighted waist, so why don’t you ballet-up your tulle or lace-covered dress that looks like from the ballet stage with a fine trendy belt.
