Alexander Wang’s collection includes American football-inspired outfits (college T-shirt, leather shorts), Bottega Veneta gets inspiration from a Karate Kid movie, Hermès is clearly fascinated with tennis while Derek Lam wants you to look like baseball player’s girlfriend.

This summer designers pay their attention to the most fashionable sporty pieces – colorful shorts, one-shoulder blouses, harem pants and also look back to ’40s and ’50s by adopting high-waisted shorts, shirt dresses and retro style bags to add a feminine touch. Such a combo needs a feminine accessorizing – ditch your trainers, wear a pair of colourful ballet flats instead and take your new sporty style for a joyride!

Kasia Struss has walked the runway for Prada, Givenchy, Chanel, Chloé, Miu Miu. On February 2010 she was the model to close Tommy Hilfiger Fall/Winter 2010 collection. She’s ranked #14 on Top 50.

Magdalena was born on October 6, 1984, she is 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m) tall. She began appearing on international runways in 2006 after abandoning studies in Paris. She has walked the runway for: Gianfranco Ferre, Carolina Herrera, Roberto Cavalli, Alexander Wang, Elie Saab etc. In fall 2009 Magdalena Frackowiak appeared in a controversial lesbian editorial with Freja Beha Erichsen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Eniko Mihalik for Purple magazine. Magdalena is currently ranked #17 on models.com Top 50.

The general idea of the studs is that they need to be worn solo. I wouldn’t recommend pairing studded bag with studded boots – you just have to be careful not to over-work the embellished look.

Somehow I just didn’t like her interpretation of so called edgy style.

To wear sheer just like on the runways, a slender silhouette is advised – if your body is far from being perfect try layering a slip or camisole underneath sheer fabrics. This will make you more confident about your curves.

Nude, on the other hand requires a tanned body as it has a tendency to wash out some skin tones (otherwise expect a spooky ghostly look!). If you – unfortunately – have a pale skin and your complexion doesn’t let you get any tanned without getting red first, try mixing nudes with other colours.

I am not personally a fan of nudes, so I always mix such ‘unlively’ shades with more daring accessories - oversized necklaces or earrings (Zac Posen), multiple bangles, classy belt (Gianfranco Ferre), eye-catching pair of shoes (Alexander Wang) or just red lips as seen in Proenza Schouler.

Nudes don’t have to, on the other hand, be completly boring. Note the geometric shapes and combining different textures and materials as seen in Calvin Klein and Marchesa.
