I’ve recently read a great article about fashion bloggers (like me!) who have been dictating trends and sitting in the front row along with Anna Wintour and Suzy Menkes. I sighed when I heard some of them were invited to the selected fashion shows so I started dreaming that maybe I’m next.

As seen on almost every catwalk, a strong-shoulder trend with its 1980s roots will help you stay en vogue this fall. Strong shoulders are related to a Dynasty-style look and it has been promoted by BCBG Max Azria, Anne Valérie Hash or Hervé Léger.

Balenciaga is a name of a fashion house, founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga, who was born in Basque Country. He had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as “the master of us all” by Christian Dior. His bubble skirts and odd, feminine, yet ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
