It’s gabi here, I’m sorry Fashion Allure was on a temporary hiatus for two weeks or so, but I was on holidays. Before leaving, I hoped the site would be updated on regular basis (as there are two more editors @ Fashion Allure). Anyway, I’m back with some trends‘ updates!
People.com have created a guide through the Fall 2008 trends, their cut-off has been richened with a galaxy of the most trend-conscious stars like: Beyonce, Rihanna, Kirsten Davis, Anne Hathaway, Elisha Cuthbert, Ginnifer Goodwin, Vanessa Hudgens and more.
The stars have used certain works of such great creators like:
Michael Kors, Celine, Philip Lim, Tom Binn, Tia Cibani and Prada
Basically, fall 2008 is a very feminine season. Laces, colours, plais prints, statement necklaces and more…
One of this season’s musts are laces. The thing is, that you can use it for anything you want, starting from lacy bras to shoes, dresses and even bags. However, I would advise avoiding the combination of different laces as it will look cheap.
When it comes to shoes…looks like cutout booties haven’t gone out of fashion from the last season! If you don’t like this trend though, then why not trying pointy-toe pumps instead? How about colours, colours, colours? You can wear whatever you want as long it is coloured. Try different shades of purple, magenta and plum. Stars will show you how. Also, a very notable fall 2008 trend says that it’s *necessary* to have at least one so called statement necklace. Your name is a good idea to be that statement.
